Vessel's husbandry

Documentation

Supported on advanced computer tools enhanced by self developed software interfaces, we are able to prepare and issue electronically all kind of maritime documents; such as cargo and freight manifest, bill of lading, cargo list, dangerous goods and special cargo manifest, and others.

Freight and charges collection

Quick and accurate collection of freights and charges due to the carrier as per relevant documents. Preparation and expedition of freight collection statements, and quick remittance of related amounts.

Cargo delivery

Smooth arrangement of delivery orders to cargo owners, in exchange of the relevant documents and after collection, if any, of the right charges as ruled out by the carrier for container demurrage or detention.

Equipment inventory & control

Exhaustive tracking of carrier's equipment, with the employment of advanced computer systems and software. Daily reporting of movements and stock inventory to carriers, using EDI solutions. Follow up of repairs estimates and authorizations. Picking up and redelivery of equipment.

Pre-carriage and on-carriage of goods and containers

Arrangement and coordination of collection or delivery of cargo and containers to merchant's premises, including but not limited to inland haulage, customs clearance, packing, preparation and expedition of documents.

Stowage plans

In coordination with carrier's planners or master of the vessel, our port captains can prepare the unloading stowage plan; assisted by appropriate software can arrange for pre-loading and final loading plan.

Unloading and loading monitoring

Under the supervision of the master of the vessel or the cargo superintendent, our qualified staff attend and monitor vessel's unloading and/or loading operations, ensuring that operations are carried out smoothly, safely and quickly, free of damage to the cargo and the vessel.

Claims reception and processing

Following carrier's manual or instructions, we can receive and process claims over cargoes from merchants, submit them to carrier's or carrier's P&I Club for their study and resolution, keeping direct contact with claimant until final settlement.
